Hello! Are you visiting our blog because your child will be in Pre K at at the ECC next year? If so, WELCOME! I will be your child’s Pre K teacher. Hello  2016-17 Pre K Families,

If you are a parent from last year and your Pre-kinder is moving on to a new grade and class, please follow the instructions below to unsubscribe to this blog.  I wish them much happiness and lots of learning in the new year!

1.  When you receive an email alert that the blog has been updated, scroll to the bottom of the email.

2.  At the bottom, look for the option to stop receiving emails.  Click on this and you will be all set.

Welcome to our classroom blog……here you will find information, updates, pictures, requests and schedules for the school year.  If you are here now, you have successfully signed up for blog post updates.  I’m so excited to get to know you and especially your preK student!!

Supplies

This year I have been able to supply the classroom with many of the tools that your child will be using each day (crayons, pencils, folders, notebooks, etc.).  If you are out shopping the Back to School sales, here are just a few recommended items.

PRE-K SUPPLY LIST:

**Please label everything with your child’s name.  Classroom supplies may be brought with you to Open House on Wednesday, August 23, at 6:30pm.**

• A large, sturdy backpack that can be easily opened and closed.  This will need to be large enough to fit winter gear, a 9×12″ folder and a lunchbox.
• Lunch box and water bottle (if your child will be bringing lunch from home)(water bottle must have closing straw-type opening)
• Extra set of seasonal clothing (pants or shorts, shirt, undies, socks, labeled and in a Ziploc baggie–accidents DO happen)
• Beach towel (labeled -to leave at school for rest time)
• 2 Large Elmers glue sticks ( to be shared with our community of learners–no need to label)
• 1 box of Kleenex
• 1 container of Clorox wipes
