We took some time to read some fiction and non-fiction stories about penguins this past week.  Our favorite stories were the ones  Tacky the Penguin and Three Cheers for Tacky.  While looking through our classroom library, I found another “Tacky” story…..can’t wait to share Tacky-locks with the kiddos on Monday!  Just know that they’ll love it!

We will continue with the non-fiction reading of penguin stories to help students learn that sometimes books are silly and just for fun, but the sometimes books help us learn about a specific topic.  Looking forward to seeing where our study will take us!
